Feral Furniture Upcycling - Beginners 101 in Furniture Painting
10.30am to 3.30pm ish!
If you want to learn about upcycling and painting furniture in a fun and relaxed place then this is for you.
Sandy of Feral Furniture Designs is here to share her extensive 25 plus years of knowledge, tips and tricks with you in this informative, hands on workshop. You will gain the confidence to create your very own fabulous, unique and contemporary statement piece of furnitue that you will be proud to show off at home and even on Instagram!
Sandy will lead you through the essential steps from begining to end, the importance of prepping your furniture, dealing with minor repairs, flawless super smooth painting and how to top coat your piece keeping it beautiful for a lifetime.
In this workshop you will get to learn proper painting techniques, essential knowledge about which paints to use and why, what brushes to use and so much more. You will put this into practice to create your very own fabulously painted piece of furniture.
Not only that! You will also have access to all Sandy's professional paints, brushes and furniture refinishing products. At Feral Furniture Designs we only work with top quality products that are super easy to use, non-toxic, VOC free, and virutually odourless.
Bring along your own small item of furniture (must be able to carry in one hand I.e. a stool, small table etc). Please email sandy@feralfurnituredesigns to confirm what you are bringing.
All materials and refreshments are included. Please let us know if you have any allergies or deitary requirements.
Small class size of 4 so you get lots of personal attention.
Be prepared to get messy! Sanding masks and Aprons are provided but paint can get everywhere so perhaps leave the Prada ball gown at home just for today.
The Feral HQ is set in a stunning location on Carlumb Farm which has amazing views of the River Camel, Roughtor and beyond. We have ample free parking.
