Desk - Home Office - Shop Counter - Retro - Mid Century Modern - Ziggy Stardust -David Bowie - Lightening Bolt - 1960s - Sideboard
So very chuffed to present the first piece in my "Celebrity Collection". This is Ziggy, of course 😁🤩 and isn't he fabulous!!! He has even more to see on the inside as well. If you were thinking that he's a sideboard or drinks cabinet then you can be forgiven. He's an amazing home office desk and I have never come across one like him before. A 1960s Mid Century Modern Retro piece of furniture that just keeps on giving. 
I have totally stripped him right back to the wood and have given him his star makeover. In honour of the iconic David Bowie I have painted a stunning lightening bolt design which is applied on all 4 sides and the top of Ziggy. The reason the design is on ever side is that you could place him away from the wall if using as a shop counter for example. I have left alot of the wood on show, bringing out its grain with one of my favorite products which is Fusions stain and finishing oil, a super tough top coat. Now who could fail to be inspired working from home with such a unique piece of furniture ❤🖤💚 Colours used are Fusion coal black and curiously pink, Fleurs Emerald Life.
This piece is just so cleverly designed as you can see from the photos the left section rolls open to reveal a handy desk perfect for your laptop. You can also see a generous sized drawer, 3 shelves and a hidden compartment beneath the lowest shelf. All the shelves slide out so you can easily access your bits and bobs. To the right is another door that opens revealing fabulous storage for magazines plus more shelving. Plenty of room to wheel in and pull up on your office chair. And what's really great when you are done with your days work you can simply fold it all back to look at your stunning desk cleverly disgused as a sideboard.

REFINISHED VINTAGE
This is a genuine upcycled vintage item that has had a previous life and it may have minor imperfections relative its age and wear and tear over the years. It has been fully cleaned and has been restored as much as appropriate to maintain its character. The painting and design work is all created by hand so please expect a high quality artists finish not a factory finish.
